Fics like Ain't No Grave

Trapped and starving in the West Georgia Correctional Facility, a prison nurse and her boyfriend are rescued by a group of strangers who introduce them to a new, horrifying world order where the dead walk and the living can’t be trusted. Weak and ill prepared for the danger that awaits them, they must learn to fight for their lives and those they love. Kimberly Sharp and Daryl Dixon form an unlikely bond. No matter how different they are, no matter how often their paths diverge, they can’t seem to leave one another’s orbit, and something starts between them that may save both of them in the end. Eventual Daryl Dixon/Original Character, but a very (very) slow burn.
