Fics like Honest Men

Fire and radiation marked the end of a world war, and those that remained standing faced the reality of a planet surface that was trying to kill them. The dregs of humanity moved underground and stayed there, vastly isolated from one another. Some flourishing, some... not. Tim has lived his entire life in one of these pockets of life, in a facility built by a pharmaceutical tycoon before the Fall. Surrounded by fellow Omegas, he has spent his life preparing for the day he will eventually integrate into the larger Community. At first, it's very exciting, but as the day looms nearer, more and more things seem... off, until his bubble of naivety pops. Forced to face the realities of an insidious world, Tim flounders for a lifeline, and surprisingly, he finds one.
