Fics like Cinnamon and Gold

" The first time I saw Jeong Yunho, I didn’t know who he was. He sat alone on the beach burying his feet in the sand. He faced the ocean, away from me, but the way his shoulders curved, his back bent over, bearing the same criss-crossed scars mine did, his blond curls teased by the wind over honey skin. Some part of me knew I would fall in love with this boy. Maybe it was the wisdom of youth. Maybe it was the whisper of fate. In any case, I stamped that knowledge down and trudged through the sand to him. “Hey,” I said. “This is my place to be alone. Find your own.” " ... This really reads like a memoir. It waxes poetic about pirate-y things and forbidden love and mushy stuff like that. Seriously, it is so dramatic. Mind the purple prose tag.
