Fics like [ubi amor, ibi dolor]

Pierre gets a visit from the Duke’s daughter and uses Jacques to charm her. However, things don’t go exactly to plan. * Based on the prompt: I had a Jacques thought that I thought I’d pass your way bc it had me laughing at the idea. I know we each HC him as a masterful letter writer, and the letters you have penned in his character are incredibly beautiful! But I wonder how he would write to a woman he has just met who has captivated him instantly. Unfortunately, he met her at one of Pierre’s bacchanals, which is a hole he needs to crawl out of, as she was not overly impressed at their frat boy shenanigans. Even better if she is his social superior. Poor Jacques. Why did he have to find the woman he would devote his whole life to while he literally had his pants down? With Pierre parading him around like a prize stallion no less to enjoy the show himself 🤣. How would he attempt to redeem himself and explain his notorious debauchery? Or would he lol?
