Fics like Where My Heart Is

“So, uh, how did you guys get together?” Samy asks from where his face is tucked into Joel’s chest “You know, before Johnny and the rest of us?” It takes Joel a minute to respond, not sure if he actually wants to tell the story today and deal with all the emotions that come with it. But he figures Samy should hear it, not like he isn’t going to hear it eventually anyway, and it’s better for Joel to tell it himself than to let the others tell it. Especially with how many of his emotions are wrapped up in it. Or Joel tells Samy the story of how he got together with Niko, Olli, Tommi, and Joonas years before they met Johnny and everyone else
