Fics like look at the stars (look how they shine for you)

For as long as Lumine has lived, she has never liked the night sky. Lumine has heard of countless stories about how the night sky was filled with stars. Little speckles of light that twinkled merrily against the dark backdrop. They felt like a fairy tale, told only to children as a bedtime story, another lie to be debunked as they grew older. All the people around her marveled at the beauty of the stars, and when they found out that she couldn’t see anything in the dark night, they would start whispering. The older that she got, the worse the whispers got. The girl without a soul mate, the girl destined to be alone forever. Supposedly, stars would be set ablaze in a brilliant spectacle of beauty and light the moment that your soulmate was born. The skies found your soulmate, the stories told. There would be a hole in the sky though, a constellation that you couldn’t see until you found your soulmate. Then Lumine meets Amber. Amber, who was the sun, the moon, the galaxies, life herself, all rolled into one smiling soul.
