Melanie wakes up after Wanderer has been removed from her in time to stop Doc from fulfilling his promise. Ian then takes over keeping Wanderer safe inbetween hosts. (This is just sort of what I thought might happen between the two scenes. I probably could have written a better fic but I could not be bothered. Enjoy this for the halfarsed fic it is.
