Fics like Let Them Fight: SkarmorySilver's Fanmade Godzilla Universe

"The arrogance of men is thinking nature is in our control and not the other way around. Let them fight." - Dr. Ishiro Serizawa March 1, 1954. The Daigo Fukuryu Maru or F/V Lucky Dragon 5, a Japanese tuna fishing boat with a crew of 23 men, made headlines when it was contaminated by nuclear fallout from Castle Bravo, the first in a series of high-yield thermonuclear weapon design tests conducted by the United States at Bikini Atoll, Marshall Islands, as part of Operation Castle. Castle Bravo quickly became an international incident, prompting calls for a ban on the atmospheric testing of thermonuclear devices, especially in Japan, which had been affected by the bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima less than a decade prior. What nobody could have anticipated, however, was that the crew of the Lucky Dragon 5 were not the only living beings affected by the Bravo test that day... This is a series of reposts of the lore for my own ongoing set of redesigns for various kaiju from the Godzilla franchise (among a few other famous kaiju franchises).
