Fics like Even if I were a monster I would love you
Jon looses his humanity and goes back to fix things, totally unrecognizable, with new instincts, and the same love for Martin. Meanwhile everyone else is questioning what the hell is up with this monster fawning over Martin. Edit: Please see the note. I am aware of Jons ability to nod and type and such. I actually am paid to communicate with non verbal people. This story is built on the idea of no one recognizing Jon. If he tells them "hey, I'm Jon!" then the story would be like two chapters long. You can stop telling me every chapter that they can communicate. I know. I know the same way Agatha Christie knows who done it and then doesn't tell you till the end. Because if you solve the problem of the story the story ends.
