Fics like somewhere only we know

Josie Saltzman keeps wondering how this happened, which decision she had made split the timeline in a million different ways and still, somehow, landed her on this particular reality: her legs tangled with Hope Mikaelson's as an almost sickening feeling invades her stomach. You see, in another world, in any other timeline, Hope Mikaelson and Josie Saltzman wouldn't be the unlikeliest pair. They go to the same school, the same parties, they live on a literal island, for god's sake. And if coexisting on the limited territory the Outer Banks provide wasn't enough, they also live on the same side of the island: Figure Eight. OR the hosie fic set in outer banks no one asked for but i needed
