Fics like its my curse (to try and make it right, but by trying make it worse)

How long has he been here? He can hardly remember. It can’t have been so long that he’s completely forgotten, but days blur together without sunlight and they don’t bother to offer him something to keep time. It could’ve been a week. It could’ve been a year. His best guess is a handful of months that feel like both infinite and like no time has passed at all. No one confirms nor denies and he doesn’t ask. No. 69 knows experiments don’t get answers, after all. Vanitas has a nightmare about his childhood. Noé wakes him up and does his best to comfort him afterwards.
