Fics like The Guardian

When the dwarves of Erebor unearthed the Arkenstone from the ground, they unearthed its nameless Guardian with it. When they fled from their home, the Guardian awoke. Unfortunately, he didn’t remember his name either. Or anything else. In which: Thorin unwillingly befriends his local amnesiac over the course of several decades, Elrond hears a series of unusual rumours, and Rus of Erebor makes his way in the world, as best he can.
