Fics like watered my heart for you

“If we’re both single by the time we’re 45, let’s spend the rest of our life together taking care of each other, loving each other.” Let’s get married, she doesn’t say, but it is heavily implied. Hwa-jeong laughs — not unkindly, but amusedly — her head tilting back, her hands coming forward to clap together, the sound of her laughter a melody, a tune to which Cho-hui’s heart beats. Against all odds, warmth blooms in Cho-hui’s chest. This is Hwa-jeong’s laugh before she hears something ridiculous and agrees to it anyway. Cho-hui leans forward to grip Hwa-jeong’s hands in hers. Cho-hui mouths, I love you, I love you, I love you. Cho-hui thinks, love me back, love me back, love me back. OR: 4 times Cho-hui almost tells Hwa-jeong how she feels and one time she finally does.
