Fics like holy altar on your table

There’s an odd level of intimacy between Mattias and Simeon for two people who share an amount mutual distrust. It started with Mattias finding himself comfortably sprawling out across a piece of Simeon’s expensive furniture while they drank together, and from there was a gradual escalation of closeness. Banter, countless what if statements, some touching—all adding up again and again until it was a nearly nightly routine for Simeon to eventually get up after two or three glasses of wine and make his way over to the other man to sit atop him and allow his hands and his mouth to wander. Mattias doesn’t trust him any further than he could throw him. He doesn’t know why he allows this, especially so easily, but he prefers not to reflect on it.
