Fics like of soft and sharp things

Spencer squints. Hotch is certainly acting a little weird. He’s not sure why. He’s being… soft. Soft is the best word for it, he decides, as he searches his boss up and down. The job he’s done to his wrists isn’t as bad as Spencer’s, but he still shrinks back at the blood dripping down his forearms, staining his white shirt cuffs. Spencer racks his brain for where his suit jacket had gone and can only scrounge up the memory of Hotch entering the conference room at the police station, doing his best to roll up his sleeves. It’s odd. Hotch doesn’t roll up his sleeves. He doesn’t laugh at Spencer’s jokes. “Is everything okay?” Spencer finds himself asking, without thinking about it. Hotch deflates. “Reid-” And then the door opens. - Hotch and Spencer have been kidnapped by their latest unsub and tied up with barbed wire. It's up to them to stall for time and get them home safe.
