Fics like Home Is Where Vital Systems Are Most Accessible

Through a series of circumstances that he stubbornly refuses to acknowledge, Tommy Innit finds himself stowed away on a very peculiar spaceship, staffed by a crew that he would come to learn is not quite as human as he is. With the mind of a young engineering prodigy, he is prepared to use every trick in the book to make it off the ship and find... whatever it is he's looking for. * * * Philza is the captain of a ship that he is proud to call his own. His crew, though small, is very dear to him. They're the closest thing he has to a family. And he would do anything to protect them. * * * or, Tommy somehow finds family, thousands of light years away from Earth, in the aliens who hold him prisoner.
