Fics like Shaking the stars

Her hand raises to her nape, where Ben was holding her, her fingers examining the low messy bun. Why? she asks in her mind, not sure if he could really hear her. Why did you do it? But she already knows, right? The reason was the same why she called Ben Solo her wonder and kissed him. Why she wanted to take his hand. ____ The battle of Exegol leaves Rey mute and heartbroken. The bond had faded, and she has no idea what happened to Ben after death. What she knows, though, is that the galaxy needs the hero who killed Palpatine and the Resistance needs the Jedi. Ben Solo, on the contrary, knows three things for sure - but the fact that someone is following him as he walks through the absolute darkness, is not among them.
