Fics like between control and surrender

“Yeah. I think it’s really great that you’re so enthusiastic about work, you know? But I also worry about you. I think maybe you’re going a bit too hard?” Mark opens his mouth, wondering exactly where this is going. “With all due respect, manager-nim, I think I’m okay? I don’t need my hours cut or anything.” “Good! That’s good, that’s great,” Yuta replies. “I’m not thinking of cutting down anything. I know what we do is a little intense, so I’m just worried you’re burning out too fast. I’ve seen it happen, you know? You got the passion and everything, which is awesome, and I don’t want you to lose that before you get to actually spend time in the studio. Just—relax. You’re not going to lose your job if you take some time for yourself.” Mark stays frozen on the spot, uncertain how to approach what Yuta just told him. “How—How should I do that?” Yuta shrugs, looking as if he’s considering the question. “Maybe you could take up yoga?”
