Fics like young dumb & broke (but we still got love to give)

Sol B’s first kiss doesn’t go as planned. Not that she’d planned it out much, but she had imagined—romance. Low lighting. Candles, perhaps. She’d imagined a heated debate over some esoteric principle of the law, the both of them leaning closer, until— She’d imagined a boy. Instead, Sol B’s first kiss happens on a Monday just as the seasons are beginning to turn. She’s in her dorm room, and Sol A is on her bed despite Sol B’s multiple and repeated requests for her to get off. But she’s half-hearted at best, and they both know it. It’s been a year since the last Mock Trial competition—the one they lost—and this time, Sol B wants to win. So she’s acting like it. The point she makes is nothing special, but Sol A still turns to her as if she’s hung the stars and moon and painted the whole night sky while she was at it. “You’re brilliant,” Sol A says, and kisses her. Or: Sol B is (reluctantly) in love with Joon-hwi. Sol B is (even more reluctantly) in love with Sol A.
