Chan is done. Done with working himself to death, done with the impossible expectations he has to meet, done with feeling the hurt so many people inflicted on him. He’s done not being enough, done wasting himself away for something that often feels like it destroys him more than the good it does in the world. Chan wants to go. It’s a scary thought, but it’s a thought that’s on the back of his mind all the time. Sometimes it appears randomly when he’s out with his band members, and then it flees before Chan can understand the weight of it. Sometimes it appears when he’s producing music and looking for an emotion that’s strong enough to make into art. But most often, it appears at night when there’s nothing to distract him from the ugly feeling in his chest, threatening to take over. ___ Sometimes, there isn't a reason why Chan feels bad. He just does.
