Fics like Bruises, Blood, and Bodyguards

“Hello? Simon?" “I need a bodyguard,” Simon’s voice is angry through the phone, but there are undercurrents of other emotions too that Wilhelm can hear from Simon’s panicked breaths and clipped vowels. Hurt. Desperation. Fear. “Hell, I need a whole team of bodyguards, or a security plan or something.” “What’s going on?” Wilhelm is seriously worried now. It doesn’t matter that they’re on a break right now, it doesn’t matter that everything’s gone to shit with them. This is Simon. Wilhelm loves him, and he’s terrified because something’s gone horribly, horribly wrong. “I’m in the hospital.” Simon says bluntly, and Wilhelm almost stops breathing.
