Fics like The weight of silence

The Doctor didn’t talk. Couldn’t talk, it seemed. Jack assumed it was shock. He wasn’t in the best of states himself. But he would do what he could to take care of the Doctor. His own state, his own feelings – that didn’t matter. After a year of torture, Jack’s well-being really didn’t matter much anymore. Martha did not agree. She had her own demons to fight, but she kept insisting that Jack’s feelings did, in fact, matter. All of them had gone through terrible events. All of them were traumatised. None of them knew how to deal with it. But they could still try to help each other up a little.
