Fics like Runaway
They'd done it. Spike and Buffy had killed Angel and stopped Acathla, leaving Drusilla behind in the mansion. And then they just- disappeared. They could have gone anywhere in the world. Except, of course, they'd barely reached L.A. before Spike's stupid car had broken down and they'd been stuck. The gang has to deal with Buffy not coming back, Angel returning, Drusilla still being in Sunnydale, and the new Slayer while Buffy and Spike meet some new and old friends and stay in L.A. to fight evil together.
