Sasuke hadn’t cared about the random corner store girl or Yamanaka Ino or the Hyuuga girl, but something didn’t sit right with him hearing Naruto talk about Sakura. It wasn’t as if Naruto’s crush on Sakura was a secret. Naruto was never quiet about it. But that knowledge didn’t stop the tightness in his chest, the possessive ache caused by the thought of someone using her for something like that. It was a dark feeling Sasuke didn’t care for. He couldn't do anything with the feeling━couldn’t take its energy and use it to work toward his goals. So he ignored it as best as he could. He ignored freckled shoulders and winsome smiles meant just for him. He ignored creamy thighs and slender fingers that pinched at the back of his shirt. Those tender feelings weren’t meant for him to explore.
