Fics like now i've found some clarity

“I don’t believe even Neku knows what he’ll do, but I can say with certainty: subconsciously, he knows the choice he wants to make.” “Is that with or without you imprinting a bunch of leading phrases into the poor kid’s head?” “Now really, Sanae, would I do that?” Hanekoma raises an eyebrow as he stares pointedly at Josh in silent answer. “... Fair point. But no, I’ll honour Neku’s trust in me and let him choose. I’ll pay it back in kind by trusting that he’ll make the right decision.” “There’s a chance he could say no. Let his abilities fade into the background. Considered that?” “I can’t say I have,” Joshua smiles. “There’s simply no need.” - Neku's been waiting for Josh to reappear for two years now, since he won the Game and helped save Shibuya. Despite returning to the RG, a part of him is still tied to the UG, a tenuous connection that he can’t quite bring himself to cut. When Josh finally does deign to make an reappearance, Neku realises that sooner or later he's going to have to choose: the RG, or the UG? Set in a world where Another Day didn't happen, exactly, but still contains major NEO TWEWY plot spoilers!
