Fics like Take Me Home to the Firelight

Four is usually disoriented from switching. He can be dazed and stumbling around for hours until he's able to right himself. Sometimes he passes out and is dead weight. Once he lost physical functions after switching. The smith had tried to play it off as a once-off occurrence but Twilight remembers the time Four couldn't stand because his legs wouldn't respond. They've been lucky, until now. When the switch occurred Four would always land near someone capable of helping him if he had a rough time. Now, alone and possibly helpless, Twilight is all too aware of everything that could go wrong. (AKA we see what switching does to Four from the point of view of his friends)
