Fics like Wayward Son

Izuku Todoroki knows what he was made for. He's not as important as his brother, Shoto, but he has a quirk that's powerful in its own right. This means he can't be ignored. He wishes he could be ignored. Like Natsuo, like Fuyumi, wishes he could run, hide, be put away like mom. Wishes he could pretend to die like Touya. Izuku is cold, so, so cold. It's daunting, frightening. He wants to just burn. Burn like Touya. Burn like Shoto. Burn like Endeavor. Burn like fire. Izuku is going to be a hero. He'll protect, save, fight, possibly die. He's going to be a hero like Shoto will be. Like Shoto actually wants to be. Like they were made to be. Izuku isn't Shoto. Izuku doesn't want to be a hero. ********** "There is bitterness there. Izuku knows this. His mask cracks a little bit more each time he remembers. But Izuku’s quirk, Cryokinesis, nevertheless is strong. A powerhouse quirk in its own right, despite the drawbacks Izuku faces. How he craves heat to replenish what he no longer has. " ********* (Story begins with U.A Entrance Exam)
