Fics like testing the waters, trying the sky

Zolf does not, on the whole, keep secrets; what happens more often is that he plain old forgets what he has and hasn’t told other people about. Cel leans forward and rests their chin on their hand with a curious look, and Zolf feels the tips of his ears start to burn as he realises just how long it’s been since he’s mentioned that little piece of trivia. That he once tried out different pronouns. // Zolf’s been around the block, and he knows who he is. But he’s also changed a lot since his last go ‘round- hopefully for the better. It might be time to take another swing at things. Otherwise known as- a person with issues trusting others and a person with issues trusting themself end up being the most trustworthy people for someone who has issues with both.
