Fics like What if hiding is for the better?

Tubbo had been fine with keeping his and Ranboos relationship - or whatever it was - a secret. It was for the better after all. With their town throwing around homophobic slurs like it was nothing, Tubbo preferred them to be hidden. Ranboo wanted them to be more open with their feelings though. It didn't matter to him what everyone else thought as long as he and Tubbo were happy. Ranboo hadn't meant for them to be seen by kids from school. Tubbo hadn't meant to say the things he did. Would anything fix the mistakes made that afternoon? Or will the town control their relationship forever?
