Fics like Rocky Road

Based on this headcanon prompt by an anon on tumblr: "With regards to Chenrich: Who do you think would be the more likely of the two to jump to the other's defense? I know from what we've seen so far in the trailers, Haven Springs appears relatively accepting when it comes to LGBTQ+ community members. Who do you believe would come to the defense for the other? How would Steph and Alex react to that kind of situation? Would each of them have different reactions to that kind of situation? How would Steph or Alex react if either one of them were really upset about such reactions and what would be some ways they could comfort the other after such confrontation?" It was just supposed be a simple ice cream date. But then there was a man with an angry red aura.
