Fics like the one where jordie lives

He had never thought, even for a moment, that Jordie might be alive. And so he had never imagined what this might be like. The miracle. The return. He supposed he was dimly aware of the fact that it should have been joyful. It should have been a cause for celebration. It shouldn’t have felt like it was tearing him apart at the seams. Like all of his work — on himself, with Inej — was coming unravelled in the span of a single day. Like he might drown in it all, finally, dragged down in its undertow and swept out on the tide. Or, Kaz and Jordie each believe the other to be dead. When they're proved wrong, it's less a joyful reunion and more an opening of old wounds. Kaz holds his sanity together with both hands. The Crows do what they can to help. But the Barrel never sleeps, and they still have enemies out in the dark. //A fic dealing with Rietveld brothers angst & healing, Dirtyhands, vengeance, & backstory trauma, and Kaz's relationships with the other Crows and feelings of loneliness after the end of Crooked Kingdom.
