Fics like when the wild wave comes

Selfish of Thomas, perhaps, to turn the situation to his own advantage like this now. When he has already resigned himself to his lot, knowing he would never be closer than he already was so lucky to be. When he ought to be grateful for the civilized era he lives in, ought to treasure his independence, that as an omega steward he is no longer obligated by nature and rank to service his superiors. But it would benefit far more than just himself, more than just the Captain, to solve this problem, would it not? The whole ship’s company might be in danger, if he doesn’t accede to his natural urges, and soon.
