Fics like No War Ever Ends Good

“How old were you?” Obi-Wan counted a mental abacus, and said, “Thirteen, I suppose. Fourteen.” And the image of an Obi-Wan defying his master shrank and shrank. The actor Anakin hired in his own mind, supplying an older Obi-Wan, an Obi-Wan that looked like the first time he first him on Tatooine, left without taking his compensation for this firing. An Obi-Wan that was, at the very least, an adult, lessened and lessened until the portrait became a child drowning in ridiculously long sized robes of the former mental picture. A child gripping a blaster, a kid losing milk tooth on a trench. or When Anakin learns that Obi-Wan once left the Order to fight a war that wasn't his, he cannot help but compare himself with Obi-Wan about the reasons. He, also, considered leaving once upon a time, after all.
