Fics like alter ego (HIATUS)

As Truth leaned forward, Ed's eyes burned, and yet, he couldn’t look away, as if he were a fluttering moth to a candlelight. "Yes, yes – now, I want to believe that you are not so naive to think that reality revolves only around your singular, dispensable timeline, yes?" …What? Truth only smiled wider. -- The Law of Equivalent Exchange is bullshit. That's what Edward Elric decides after he wakes up in a dumpster after he makes a deal with Truth in order to save his brother. Aizawa Shouta's list of problem children just keeps getting longer by the second, and Japan definitely isn't ready for the uncontrollable hurricane of destruction that is the Fullmetal Alchemist. -- Or; a FMA x BNHA crossover fic that I wrote when I was fourteen that got out of hand. Canon divergence where Ed's gate is only enough to restore Al, not keep him alive and well. Obviously the only next course of action is an isekai. As of 9/29/2026: I am working slowly on a minor rewrite of this fic as well as the next chapter. Thank you all for the patience! :)
