Fics like True North

“Is it weird to say I miss someone I’ve never met?” Namjoon chuckles on the other end of the line. “No, I don’t think so.” There’s a pause and the rustling of blankets. “Though -” Namjoon’s voice is softer now, secretive, “if it is, I don’t think I mind being weird.” Yoongi turns his head, burying his face in his pillow to suppress his smile. “Yeah?” he asks, just as softly. “Yeah,” Namjoon confirms, “I miss you, too.” -OR- Long distance is hard, but it's even harder when you've never actually met. A road trip for the solar eclipse is an opportunity for them to meet halfway, to finally connect and see if the spark is real. It feels like there's so much on the line, but Yoongi won't let Namjoon slip through his fingers.
