Fics like autumn outside the post office, i was waiting for you

jungwon learns that the most beautiful things in the world can never stay; autumn leaves, cherry blossoms, the prettiest sunrises, the stillest nights, the brightest stars. he learns that sometimes people who get sick don't get better, that sometimes hoping against all hope doesn't make the impossible possible, that sometimes all the love he had in the world still wouldn't be enough to save the only person who mattered. he learns that no matter how hard he wishes for it, some things in the world just weren’t destined to have a happy ending. and he learns, the last thing a dying boy has to teach him, what it's like to love as bright as the rising sun.
