Fics like Far Flung Heights
“Yeah, well, we’ve been trying to scout for new members we can recruit for Paris 2024. We asked the players to help in our deliberations. You were one of the names that came up. One of the top names, even. You’re an excellent middle blocker, both in high school and in your professional team now.” Kei froze in his seat. The world seemed to spin around him. Normally, he had no problem processing surprising information. But this - this information was something he couldn’t seem to wrap his head around. “I… okay,” Kei finally spoke, his voice surprisingly even. “So, well, I’d like to formally ask you if you’d like to train and be part of the National Volleyball Team. It’d be a great honor if you do.” Tsukishima gets recruited as an Olympic volleyball player, and everyone around him is proud of him.
