Fics like You Die A Hero, Or...
Things were looking bleak for the heroes. Society was on the verge of collapse and the villains were winning the war. Izuku was tired. So tired. The weight of the responsibilities he had as the current holder of One for All dragging him down. He was at his limit, burning out. So when his childhood hero showed up in full strength, looking young and healthy once more, Izuku was at first suspicious, then relieved, then ecstatic. All Might was back! He would fix everything—he was the symbol of peace after all. Everything was going to be alright now that he was here. ...So why did something feel so wrong? After giving One for All back to All Might, Izuku is taken to a safe-house for protection. Trying to find out news about the war, or even about his friends, becomes increasingly difficult as All Might continues to put new restrictions on him for his own safety. But that was fine, right? This was All Might! Surely he had a good reason for doing so. ...And yet Izuku still couldn't smother the strange feeling of unease that haunted him.
