Fics like Agent Rose (Or, Ochre and Magenta Find A Baby)

Magenta passed the rubble over to his partner and picked up the unconscious child who had been sheltering beneath it. Magenta had virtually no experience with children, but he thought this one was about a year old and, judging from the fact it wore a pale pink dress covered in a print of roses, probably female. Ochre’s eyes widened. “Is she alive?” As though to answer his question, the child inhaled sharply through her nose and opened her eyes. She made a soft cooing noise and then began to cough. Magenta instinctively reached up to pat her on the back.
