Fics like A Dozen Roses on the Pavement

He wasn’t as tall as Lysandre, thankfully, but he was still fucking tall, and Ash, once again, cursed his—well, to put it in Kiawe’s terms—lacking stature. Ash wasn’t sure what to say, and couldn’t even stumble through an answer before Chairman Rose jumped in. “You are Ash, aren’t you?” Um. He knew Ash’s name? “Leon has been telling me about a young trainer overflowing with talent, and that’s got to be you. I’ve wanted to meet you ever since I heard about you.” or: Ash has just been crowned Champion of Alola, and he's ready for a new adventure. He's not quite ready for what that means. edit: no longer on hiatus!
