Fics like Right Here Waiting

Two months after a night of passion never discussed again, everything goes wrong. Alex and Gene both come to terms with the consequences and come to realise that a one-night stand was not what either of them wanted. Ashes to Ashes belongs to the BBC and Kudos, I'm just borrowing the universe and the characters. Title is taken from the Richard Marx song, which I don't own either.
