Bennett thanks him no less than 10 times for the help and turns to submit his expedition work. He begins to walk away, presumably off to the Cathedral when Kaeya blurts out his name. Kaeya asks the question before he can stop himself. The kid’s grown on him already. “Would you like me to give you some tips on handling a sword? I can train you myself.” Bennett breaks into a wide grin, “If it’s no trouble then, Sir! But I have to warn you, my luck can be quite a handful.” Kaeya internally rolls his eyes. The whole bad luck thing sounded like a load of bullshit, but for Bennett’s sake, he waves him off and says to meet him at the Favonius Headquarters in a few days. Bennett shoots him an enthusiastic thumbs up paired with a grin, and Kaeya can’t help but shoot one back. or, In which Kaeya takes a passionate pyro-wielding young man (who reminds him all too much of his estranged brother) under his wing.
