Fics like Controlled Burn

When Al gets a peculiar letter from a retired alchemist, Major Berthold Hawkeye, he sends his brother to investigate. Ed finds some mangled corpses, some morbid alchemy, and some traumatized children. (An AU in which the Elrics are military officers, and Roy & Riza are children who commit the ultimate taboo.)
