Fics like pink in the night

tubbo was afraid of many things. he was afraid of the tremor of fireworks, the sound of thunder, resounding voices, broken beer bottles, one block wide towers, wasted time, night terrors. but at this very moment, where the moon shone over him and his husband, who so carefully cradled him when he knew they were tired of waking up to an empty bed, tubbo realized he was afraid of being loved. and with that realization, he let his tears free fall, dripping down his face and he tried (and failed) to keep his hiccuping down. of course, ranboo noticed. (tubbo is awake, and it’s a spring super moon. his husband loves him, and he doesn’t know how to cope with that knowledge.)
