Fics like Don't Let Go

NOW: Mac has been found and rescued after a sudden kidnapping that left Jack and the rest of DXS scrambling for answers. The answers, which lie in Jack's own past, serve only to make him feel more and more guilty for what's happened. The trouble is, with Mac barely coherent, there's no real way to know what actually did happen to him. And why he's having such a strange reaction to Jack. THEN: Mac has been in this situation before, except for all the ways he hasn't. The kidnapping, the drugging, the pain, been there, done that. The way they're ignoring him, though? The way his abductors seem to have deemed him secondary to his own kidnapping? That's harder to understand. Especially when Mac starts overhearing things - things that only seem to confirm some of his own worst fears.
