In this day in age, Wings are about as private as someone’s eyes. They’re a bit more intimate, maybe, because they can easily be covered, but a persons wings are part of them, just like an arm or a leg. In the locker room, between friends and family, brushing feathers and grooming each other is the ultimate act of care. Some would even say it's integral to team chemistry. Which makes it a more than a little awkward when Landy is named Captain, and does none of those things. It's not that he doesn't care, or doesn't want to. He simply can't.
