Fics like Sirina: Filling in for Skull

Checkerface is in a bind: there is no Skull De Mort in his reality/world. Nor are there any other Clouds strong enough to fill that spot in the next generation of Arcobaleno. He's already found people to fill the other spots: Luce the Sky, Reborn the Sun, Lal Mirch the Rain, Fon the Storm, and Viper the Mist. Then Checkerface reflects on a message he (and presumably his alternates) received from holders of the Mare rings: there is a person who has a way to break or 'cure' the Arcobaleno curse. He'd previously ignored it, since he didn't care to try altering the system that currently worked. But that person was said to have some of the strongest Cloud flames (among other things) that any of them had ever felt. Perhaps, if he agreed to let her end the curse at the end of the new Arcobaleno's term, she would agree to take the position of Cloud Arcobaleno... Well, there's only one way to find out. He'll have to ask her. And perhaps some further incentive would be necessary, as well...
