Fics like First Impressions
In his time as both Acting Head and later as official Head of the Institute, Alec Lightwood had dealt with a lot of people. Not just shadowhunters, but various Downworlders. It’d been necessary as the war with Valentine had raged on, and as the newest fireball in their life had sort of smashed her way through all the barriers between shadowhunters and Downworlders. Because of her connections to them, he’d had a few dealings with the local wolf pack, and through her friend he’d been forced to deal with the leader of the local vampire coven. But there was one that Alec hadn’t met. Magnus Bane, the High Warlock of Brooklyn.
