Dream had a thing about ink. Tattoo ink to be exact, and the masterpieces it became. The way it turned the blank canvas of an irritating, ugly person into something unique and beautiful, something he wanted to run his hands over and worship. Tracing lines embedded in skin with featherlight fingers until the skin beneath them was sensitive and covered in goose flesh, eliciting whines and sighs from lips that he would probably never kiss again after whatever particular night it was ended. Sapnap called it a kink but Dream liked to think of it as a deep appreciation for an underrated art. And if it gave him a job, a passion, something to spend his time doing and be happy about doing it? Just another plus. If, of course, he could find a shop to hire him for more than a few weeks. You see, Dream refused to do any work he considered beneath him. Not hearts and barbed wire, no names of girlfriends or boyfriends, nothing so overdone and usually regretted by the time the high of nightlife and drunk love evaporated into the morning sun. If only he could find a parlor that shared his standards, life would be so much easier. Edit: I do not support assholes, this is my story told using the skins of others.
