Fics like Partners. Always.

Steve unlocks his door, unsure what he will see. He knows his flat would have been crawling with Forensic officers looking for evidence. Evidence they wouldn’t have found because it was all a pile of bullshit. He feels the violation of his privacy like an itch on his skin. He’s so fucking angry that Kate was the only one who believed him; that the team he’d dedicated the last few years of his life to had genuinely believed he could be a murderer. Not only that but he’d be stupid enough to use his own gun and service vehicle to do it. If he was a criminal, he’d be fucking better at it. My post-ep head cannon for Series 3 Episode 6, featuring Kate actually being cared for AFTER SHE WAS HIT BY A CAR!
